Travel Requirements due to COVID-19

VISA Information
According to the information from the Immigration Department, nationals of about 170 countries and territories may visit Hong Kong without a visa/entry permit for a period ranging from 7 days to 180 days. For more information on visa/entry permit requirements for visitors to the HKSAR, please refer to the website of the Immigration Department.
Letter of Invitation
If you need a Letter of Invitation to apply for a visa or simply to facilitate your trip to attend the Conference, please complete your registration first, and make this request by sending the following information by email to rcbt@comp.polyu.edu.hk:
- Your registration confirmation receipt
- Your first name as shown in your passport / travel document
- Your last name as shown in your passport / travel document
- Your passport number / travel document number
- Your address
- Your title and institution
- Please indicate the capacity in which you will participate in the conference:
- Presenter of a paper (if yes, please provide the title of the paper you will present)
- Organizer
- Attendee (i.e. not a presenter nor an organizer)
- Email address for receiving the letter of invitation (letter will be in PDF format)
All personal information received will be treated as confidential. The information received will only be used for the purpose of issuing the requested invitation letter.
The invitation letter is only intended to facilitate participants’ visa arrangements and DOES NOT imply the provision of financial or other support.
